With Keelia training for a bikini competition it has influenced me to take a look at my own eating habits. I have been a pescatarian since college when I declared that I was no longer eating chicken, beef or pork, only fish for me. The reasoning behind this change is that I wanted to live a healthier lifestyle, but eliminating one food group does not make you healthier if you don’t do it properly. As a result I ended up eating lots of carbs to feel full. Recently, I have begin to research vegetarianism and vegan ism and how to do it the healthy way. Youtube has been a great resource and I’m just loving Olga of Fablunch. She has great vegan recipes and tips for eating vegan the healthy way.
So far I’ve lost about 21 lbs by minimizing carbs, eating more vegetables and drinkings lots of water about a gallon a day. This has helped me to flatten my stomach and reduce my pooch which is perfect for summertime. I am loving the crop top trend this season and plan on wearing many of my crop tops with high waisted pants and skirts. This outfit makes me happy because its cute and comfy. It is perfect because it can take you from running errands to getting drinks depending on the shoes and accessories.
