Lately health, fitness and beauty have become very important to me. Within the last year or so I had pickup some really bad habits, carbs galore, to many drinks and not even water. As a result, my clothes weren’t fitting properly and my feet were swelling on a daily basis. It hit me one day while at Target buying lotions, oils and scrubs it didn’t make sense for me spend all of this money on beauty products if I wasn’t going to take care of myself. I had to make a change, so I started eating more fruits and vegetable, limiting my carbs, drinking a gallon of water a day and forcing myself to be more physically active. So far, I’ve lost a few pounds and started to get back into clothes again, but biggest advantage is that I’m gaining my confidence back. It’s funny how not taking care of yourself can affect the way you see yourself. I’m not where I want to be, but I’m definitely on the right track and I’m beginning to see it in everything that I do.
This blue jean dress is one of my favorites. I love the soft feel of the material and the way that it’s cut in the front. I think it does a great job of highlighting my figure. I often wear this on a night out to a lounge with the girls or a date night. It is a comfortable wear for a Friday or Saturday night out.
